Set in twenty five acres of stunning North Devon countryside, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park offers a great family day out when visiting the South West of England. Within this natural setting on the edge of stunning Exmoor is home to a wide variety of animals but it is, perhaps, the collection of life-size dinosaurs that draw most people to the park. The dinosaurs have been brought back to life with the aid of the latest in modern animatronics. Some of the models are animated including the UK's only full size animatronic T-Rex and a `Spitting Dilophosaurus'. Set out in the parkland, this is a fantastic way to see these once great creatures. However, dinosaurs are just a small part of the park and there are 26 acres of sub-tropical gardens to explore with rare plants, cascading waterfalls and free flying exotic birds. The park is also home to Snow Leopards, Timber Wolves, Meerkats, Apes and Monkeys, Sealions, a Tropical Butterfly House and lots more, all in immaculately kept enclosures.
